48 New Job Openings within Hockey - Monday March 31st 2025

College Hockey jobs are flying in, the PWHL keeps hiring, and lots of coaching gigs!

In partnership with

Happy Monday everyone

This is my 52nd newsletter, meaning I’ve officially hit the one-year mark of building Working in Hockey 🎉

I’ll save my sappy thank you’s for the end of this week’s email - so I’ll start by saying that since we’re a year into this, I’m soon going to start a bunch of new initiatives and additional resources here to hopefully help this community even more, and even some new newsletter designs soon!

Keep your eyes peeled for some exciting announcements and releases coming soon; including an annual hockey jobs report that I’ll be dropping later this week! 👀

PS. This is a big email - if you don’t see all the jobs listed, click view entire message at the bottom of the email.

My Favourite Role of the Week

This week, I’m going with Men’s Ice Hockey Assistant Coach at Ferris State University as my favourite role.

Ferris State hasn’t had much success lately as they did in the early 2010s, but it’s a great D1 program, a great hockey region, and the role comes with a salary range of $55,000-85,000 USD based on experience.

For those looking to work their way up the coaching ladder, I’d definitely check this gig out!

New Q&A Video featuring Lukas Georgas

This week I’ve got a question & answer video for you instead of the usual weekly podcast - not to mention, Lukas Georgas joined me for his first episode as part of the Working in Hockey team! 👀

I’ve gotten to know Lukas and his sports journey over the past year or two, and when I started thinking of who I could have on the show for additional insights and stories, he came to mind right away.

From CCM Hockey to Rogers Sportsnet to Bardown Hockey to all the creator work he does with the NHL - Lukas is a wealth of knowledge and is eager to share his inputs and advice to help you all land your dream jobs in the game!

Nick’s Notes

As I alluded to earlier; here’s the sappy part.

Thank you all for following along with Working in Hockey over the past year. It’s been an absolute blast to build this brand and to get to connect with so many of you.

I’m proud to say that Working in Hockey has helped land over 50+ people jobs in this ever-competitive industry, and I hope to help lots more of you to do so in 2025.

Again, thank you to each of you, and feel free to reach out to me any time by either replying here or DM’ing me on social media!

See you next week. Same place, same time. 👋
