This week I’ve got 47 cool new hockey jobs to share with you all - and it’s a pretty unique list! There’s surprisingly only 1 new Full-Time job in the NHL this week, but there are some once-in-a-blue-moon jobs with Hockey Canada, CCM, NCAA teams, and even the Canadian Olympic Committee.
While I can’t guarantee the Olympic Committee internships will be focused solely on hockey, it’s the Olympics… it’s worth checking out. Especially given the hype the 2026 Olympics are going to have following the conclusion of the 4 Nations Face-off.
My Favourite Role of the Week
This week, I’m focused on CCM’s Brand Activator job in Boston Massachusetts. These roles don’t come available very often, because once someone lands one, they usually never want to leave it lol.
This role is a great mix of marketing and sales, works with a fabulous cohort of people from CCM, and of course is in the hockey-crazed market of Boston. I couldn’t imagine a much cooler job to land right now.
Advice of the Week
This week’s advice is super simple, but super important - act fast on these roles!! ⏳
A lot of these jobs do not indicate when they close the posting, as they want to see what kind of applicants and volume they receive, rightfully so. But unfortunately that means that these roles can close quickly and out of the blue.
I mentioned this on my Instagram story this week, but the average length a hockey job posting is open is ~2.5 weeks. I’ve even seen multiple in February that have closed the same week they are posted…
That’s how competitive these jobs are, and why it’s so crucial to move fast when you see these shared in the newsletter or they pop up on your social feeds. Don’t wait, don’t take 2 days to tidy up your resume - keep the resume up to date and just go for it!
